In the case of R v S, Sophie Shooter successfully defended a sexual assault trial in the magistrates’ court this week. In a trial over two days, Sophie cross examined multiple vulnerable witnesses.
The Defendant was accused of sexually assaulting his step-daughter and was acquitted and a restraining order on acquittal successfully opposed.
