Peter Horgan appointed Circuit Judge

Deans Court Chambers are delighted to announce that the King has appointed Peter Horgan to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Crown Court with effect from 03 October 2023.

Peter Horgan will be known as His Honour Judge Horgan. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1993. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2019, and as a Deputy District Judge in 2021.
