Zoe Dawson and Richard Flook secure acquittal in historic rape case following voire dire
Zoe Dawson led Richard Flook defending in a case involving no less than 12 allegations of Rape said to have occurred in the 1980’s.
Following an extensive review of unused material, and cross-examination of a police officer over two days in a voire dire, the Crown accepted that due to significant disclosure failures the Defendant could not have a fair trial, and offered no evidence on all Counts on the indictment.
