Virginia Hayton represented G4S in a self inflicted death inquest
Virginia Hayton represented G4S in a self inflicted death inquest. The death was of a prisoner at HMP Birmingham. He was transferred to HMP Birmingham in February 2018, he self harmed on March 19th and then was found with a ligature around his neck on 24th April. The Jury concluded that he committed suicide. There was a series of failings with the ACCT process that the jury concluded possibly caused or contributed to his death. G4S no longer run the prison.
