Ros Scott Bell represents a Paramedic at the Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service
Ros Scott Bell recently represented a Paramedic before the HCPC Interim Orders Tribunal, successfully avoiding the imposition of an interim order of suspension. Despite the Police investigating the Paramedic in respect of criminal offences and concluding that no further action would be taken against him, the HCPC were keen to prevent him from practicing for 18 months while they conducted their own enquiries. The Tribunal found that the balance between the public interest and the Registrant’s interest “fell squarely with the Registrant”.
