Patrick Gilmore joins Deans Court after successful pupillage
Chambers is pleased to announce that Patrick Gilmore has accepted an offer of tenancy following the successful completion of his pupillage.
Patrick originally trained as a Solicitor commencing a general practice training contract in 2007 and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2009, following the Bar Transfer Test Mr Gilmore successfully completed his pupillage with Miss Cheetham QC in February 2015.
During his career as a solicitor Patrick represented clients in criminal, family, housing and civil law, including representing clients at the police station. He chose to specialise primarily in family law with a particular interest in Public Law Children Act proceedings; joining Lancashire County Council Child Protection legal team in December 2009 where he advised on the full range of proceedings including non-accidental injury cases, fictitious injuries, chronic/long term neglect, child death, drug abuse and freeing/placement proceedings.
