Julia Cheetham QC and Joseph Hart were invited to attend the first Inter-Territorial Conference on Co-operation in Child Safeguarding in the British Overseas Territories at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on Wednesday 18 October 2017. Julia presented a paper on the mutual recognition and enforcement of orders in the British Overseas Territories. It was a fascinating conference with multi disciplinary delegations from across the world giving presentations on areas of particular interest to the British Overseas Territories. Julia and Joseph both have extensive experience of work in the British Overseas Territories, Julia in complex family work and vulnerable adults and Joseph in criminal proceedings.
