Julia Cheetham appointed Queen’s Counsel
Deans Court Chambers are proud to announce that Miss Julia Cheetham has been appointed one of Her Majesty’s Queens Counsel.
Julia is a family barrister who joined Deans Court Chambers in 2001 and her practice involves complex proceedings relating to children including care proceedings, adoption, wardship and judicial review. Julia also practices in the British Overseas Territories and is instructed by the Falkland Islands and St Helena Governments.
The ceremony will take place at Westminster Hall on the 16th February where Miss Cheetham will be officially sworn in by the Lord Chancellor.
This appointment reflects the quality of Deans Court as a leading set and further strengthens the full spectrum of family law and Court of Protection services that we provide.
