Elizabeth Dudley-Jones appears in Court of Appeal before the Lord Chief Justice
Elizabeth Dudley-Jones was instructed as defence trial counsel in a Rochdale sex grooming case involving seven defendants and a vulnerable complainant aged fifteen who was plied with alcohol and drugs in exchange for sexual intercourse.
Miss Dudley-Jones’ lay client pleaded guilty on an agreed basis of plea and received 5 years imprisonment.
The appeal was heard on the 9th December 2014 at the Court of Appeal sitting in Manchester at Crown Square Crown Court before the Lord Chief Justice, Mr Justice Mark Turner and Mr Justice Jeremy Baker.
