Deans Court Chambers Sponsors Important Meeting of the Manchester Medico Legal Society.
On 22 July this year the Prime Minister delivered a major speech about cracking down on online pornography and making the internet safer for children.
Deans Court Chambers agree that this initiative is "vital for protecting the most vulnerable in our society, protecting innocence and protecting childhood itself."
Deans Court Chambers is therefore very pleased to sponsor an important presentation to the Manchester Medico Legal Society by Dr Miranda Horvath, Reader in Forensic Psychology and Deputy Director of Forensic Psychological Services at Middlesex University who will present her Paper:
“Basically…porn is everywhere”:
examining the relationships between pornography, lads’ mags and sexual violence.
The meeting will take place at:
Chancellor’s Hotel and Conference Centre,
M14 6PA
on Wednesday, 16th October 2013
7.30pm
