Chambers would like to congratulate Alex Taylor on completing Ironman South Africa in a stunning time of 9 hours 10 minutes. Alex combines his busy civil practice at the bar with competing in triathlon at the highest level. He faced a sea swim in rough conditions before riding 180km in 5 hours 10 and then running a 3.14 marathon! Alex was 39th amateur in an international field of nearly 1800 athletes. His 8th place in his age group has qualified him to represent GBR at the Ironman World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii in October later this year. Well done Alex!
