Helen’s practice encompasses all aspects of Family Law and Court of Protection.
In public law proceedings Helen regularly acts for Local Authorities. She is also instructed on behalf of parents, relatives, Guardians, competent children, and the Official Solicitor.
She has experience in complex public law cases that involve non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse/exploitation, and international elements.
In private law proceedings, Helen has represented parents, grandparents, and rule 16.4 Guardians. Helen has experience in international relocation cases, and applications for leave to remove temporarily from the jurisdiction (including to countries that are not signatories to the Hague Convention).
Helen is instructed on a variety of financial relief matters, and has experience in cases involving businesses, interveners, and evidence from forensic accountants.
