Peter began his clerking career in 1995 at 28 St John Street (now St Johns Buildings), where he spent seven years supporting the criminal team and gaining valuable experience. In 2002, he joined Young Street Chambers as Assistant Senior Criminal Clerk,

In 2010, Peter moved to Deans Court Chambers, initially continuing in the role of Assistant Senior Criminal Clerk before being promoted later that year to Senior Criminal Clerk. Over time, his remit expanded to include regulatory and professional discipline work, where he has developed a strong reputation for his meticulous approach and deep understanding of the procedural and reputational sensitivities involved in such cases.

Today, Peter leads a dedicated clerking team and plays a key role in the strategic development of barristers’ practices across both criminal and regulatory disciplines.

Outside chambers, Peter maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys football and fitness
