Members of Deans Court Chambers have developed specialist advocates who regularly receive instructions on Trademark and Copyright cases in areas which include:

 - Hacking and cracking of software;

 - Counterfeit production and distribution of video and audio recordings;

 - Commercial scale production and distribution of counterfeit goods and designer wear;

 - Production of goods with similar designs or logos to registered trademarks.

Intellectual property crime is being investigated and prosecuted by Trading Standards, FACT, the music industry and other regulatory bodies more frequently. Members of Chambers are experienced in both prosecuting and defending these cases which are often complex and legally challenging.

At the outset we can provide advisory and advocacy assistance to companies, individuals and prosecuting authorities to enable our team to deliver a comprehensive service to our clients to achieve the best results on their behalf.
