Matters for which members regularly receive instruction include:

 - Death by dangerous driving;

 - Death by careless driving;

 - Driving without due care and attention;

 - Dangerous driving;

 - Speeding;

 - Excess alcohol;

 - Failure to provide details and fail to furnish (s.172);

 - Exceptional hardship arguments;

 - Totting up;

 - Special Reasons.

 They regularly receive instruction from celebrity, sporting and high net-worth individuals throughout the length and breadth of the country such is their reputation. All members are vastly experienced in the running of highly technical legal arguments in respect of motoring matters and regularly appear in the Magistrates Court, Crown Court and Divisional Court in this respect.

Increasingly members are sought out for their skill and expertise by insurance companies to defend in matters where there is a resulting civil claim for injuries and death.
