Members of Deans Court Chambers have a highly experienced team who deal with all areas of trading standards work.
We represent individuals, partnerships and limited companies against alleged breaches of Trading Standards brought by local authorities and other prosecuting authorities,
We regularly receive instructions on the following:
 - Dishonest promotion & Advertising;
 - Inappropriate sales techniques, particularly in regards to vulnerable consumers;
 - Trade descriptions;
 - Bribery matters;
 - Food labelling and food standards;
 - Product labelling;
 - Product safety cases, including cases involving serious injury;
 - Counterfeit products.
This area of law is complex and we encourage seeking assistance at an early stage to ensure that effective advice is provided in a timely manner. We can provide swift effective advice to respond to all individuals and businesses who may find they face prosecution and disciplinary measures.
