Pete began his clerking career at Young Street Chambers before joining Deans Court Chambers in November 2010. Since then, he has gained extensive experience across multiple practice areas. Initially clerking the Criminal & Regulatory team, Pete later transitioned to the Civil and Business & Property departments, where he continued to develop his expertise and reputation.

In June 2025, Pete was appointed Senior Civil and Family Clerk. In this role, he is responsible for the practice development and marketing of Chambers’ Civil, Business & Property, and Family teams — including clerking for 8 King’s Counsel. His responsibilities include diary management, fee negotiation, and client care, ensuring a seamless and responsive service across all areas of practice.

Pete is supported by a highly experienced and professional clerking team and is committed to delivering a first-class service to all clients.

Away from work, Pete enjoys travelling abroad, attending live music festivals and gigs, and is a long-time season ticket holder at Old Trafford — still faithfully waiting for Manchester United to return to their former glory…
