- Elinor Watts
Elinor joined Chambers as a pupil in October 2022 under the supervision of James Hogg, during which she worked on a range of civil and personal injury matters, with a particular focus on cases involving allegations of dishonesty.
Elinor was previously a Legal Assistant to Gerard McDermott KC where she gained experience in a range of catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence work.
Elinor now accepts instructions in all areas of personal injury work, representing both Claimants and Defendants at trial and interim applications. Elinor also welcomes instructions to draft pleadings and advise on both liability and quantum.
Elinor has a growing practice in business and property work, including property damage and contractual disputes.
Elinor also has experience advising on data protection matters, including claims involving breach of the Data Protection Act (1998 and 2018), misuse of private information, breach of confidence, and breach of the Human Rights Act 1998.
