Elinor practices in a broad range of personal injury and clinical negligence work. 

Elinor completed a civil pupillage at Deans Court under the supervision of James Hogg, during which she worked on a range of civil and personal injury matters, with a particular focus on cases involving allegations of dishonesty.  

Elinor's personal injury practice benefits from her prior experience in serious injury. Before starting pupillage, she was Legal Assistant to Gerard McDermott KC and worked as a paralegal at a leading catastrophic injury law firm. 

Personal Injury

Elinor accepts instructions in all areas of personal injury work. 

She is routinely instructed on employers’ liability, public liability and road traffic accident cases and CICA claims. 

Elinor has a busy Court practice, acting for Claimants and Defendants at interim hearings, CCMCs and trials. 

She frequently advises on liability and quantum and drafts pleadings in fast and multi-track cases. 

Clinical Negligence

Elinor has a growing clinical negligence practice. 

She regularly advises and settles pleadings on a wide variety of clinical negligence matters (both Claimant and Defendant) including surgical negligence, delays in diagnosis, birth injuries and dental negligence.
