Jamie is a highly experienced clerk with over 15 years in both criminal and civil practice areas. He has previously held a deputy senior position within the Criminal and Regulatory Teams at a well-established set of Chambers in Manchester, where he developed a reputation for discretion, reliability, and efficient diary management.

In July 2025, Jamie joined the Civil Team at Deans Court Chambers, where he oversees the daily operation of the civil diary, coordinates court listings, allocates work to members of Chambers, liaises with instructing solicitors, and assists with fee negotiation. His extensive criminal court experience has honed his ability to manage complex schedules and high-volume caseloads with professionalism and precision.

Jamie is recognised by colleagues and clients alike for his composed and courteous manner, as well as his meticulous attention to detail. He plays a vital role in ensuring the effective administration of the civil practice and supporting the strategic growth of members’ practices.

Outside of Chambers, Jamie is a dedicated long-distance runner and outdoor enthusiast. He spends much of his spare time training or exploring the countryside with his Cavapoo, Daphne. Jamie has participated in a variety of charity events, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks, several half and full marathons, and other endurance challenges, raising significant funds for causes close to his heart. Most recently, he completed his first ultra marathon!
