At Deans Court Chambers our team offers representation to all parties in the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Deans Court Chambers team appreciate the prospect of facing proceedings in from of a tribunal is a daunting one. They understand the importance of providing the highest quality of representation to protect a registrant’s career, reputation and well-being.

Cases include:

-Representation of a Nurse at a six-week misconduct hearing. There was a finding of no case to answer on 16 of the 22 charges. A further 4 charges, including allegations of dishonesty, were found not proved. 2 charges were found proved relating to appropriate care planning, however, the Panel found that in her current role, the registrant was applying her professional judgement and knowledge to ensure that her care plans were exemplary and determined that the registrant’s fitness to practise was not currently impaired.

-Representation of lead hypertension practise nurse of 35 years on serious charges before the Nursing midwifery Council, accused of deliberately and dishonestly recording incorrect blood pressure of approximately 5,000 patients over 5 years and various other misconduct charges relating to 6 other patients. The case concluded with the registrant being totally exonerated by the panel.
