The Barristers at Deans Court are regulated by the Bar Standards Board.
Joseph joined Chambers in September 2020 following a civil pupillage under the supervision of David Boyle, during which he worked on a range of personal injury, clinical negligence, inquest and insurance fraud matters. As such, Joseph now accepts instructions in all areas of personal injury litigation, representing both Claimants and Defendants at trial and interim applications. He has a growing paper practice, regularly advising on liability and quantum as well as drafting pleadings.
During pupillage, he also gained insight into professional negligence work involving solicitors in particular, with the underlying matters being civil and chancery/commercial in nature. Joseph is keen to develop this area of practice and welcomes instructions accordingly.
Other recent work in his own right has included acting for insurers in property damage cases, as well as drafting pleadings and appearing in a range of contractual disputes for Claimants and Defendants alike.
Joseph is happy to consider instructions on a CFA basis in appropriate cases.
