Ross Olson specialises in personal injury and related fields of work (including employers’ liability, occupiers’ liability and road traffic accident claims). He is regularly instructed by Claimants and Defendants (in broadly equal proportions) in a range of cases of greatly varying severity, complexity and value. He frequently receives instructions to prepare paperwork (including complex Defences and Counter-Schedules) and is familiar with managing expert evidence (whether by written questions and/or in conference). He routinely represents clients at trial and at Joint Settlement Meetings. He has considerable experience of cases involving allegations of dishonesty and is often instructed in motor insurance fraud matters (including staged accident, bogus passenger and low velocity claims), claims involving alleged exaggerated quantum and malingering (including those requiring the management of expert and surveillance evidence).
