Junaid joined Deans Court Chambers as a tenant, having successfully completed his pupillage under the supervision of Anthony Singh and Ross Olson.

Junaid undertakes advisory and advocacy work primarily within civil litigation, regularly representing both Claimants and Defendants. 

His Civil Practice encompasses all areas of Personal Injury, including Road Traffic accidents, Employer's Liability, Occupier's Liability and Public Liability claims. Junaid has also developed a practice based on advising and representing parties in relation to contested Contractual and Commercial disputes, Landlord and Tenant disputes, Insurance matters and Consumer Law cases. Junaid has dealt with matters allocated within the Multi-Track, Fast Track and Small Claims Track in respect of a wide variety of claims.

Junaid has developed a thriving practice in contesting fraudulent personal injury claims and has specific experience of drafting pleadings as well as advising as to prospects of success and tactics in suspected fraudulent/exaggerated cases.

Junaid has extensive experience in representing parties at Court, having been instructed in numerous LVI/fraud/exaggerated type trials, conferences and applications, and adopts a sensible, realistic and rigorous approach to case preparation, cross-examination and submissions.

Junaid is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi and is approachable, professional and courteous and is happy to deal with clients from all walks of life. 

Prior to joining Chambers, Junaid garnered experience across a variety of legal sectors, including Human Rights/Immigration litigation, the Crown Prosecution Service and advising within the Citizens Advice Bureau. He is also experienced in working abroad, having spent a number of months researching and advising a law firm in Lahore, Pakistan prior to commencing the Bar Vocational Course.
