Karen Brody instructed in Financial remedy case
G v G
Financial remedy case. Long marriage.
The Wife is disabled. The Husband has numerous business interests, along with his brothers.
There are issues as to liquidity, and as to the extent of the Husband's income -as it appears that there is cash undisclosed in the trading accounts/to HMRC.
The Husband may have assets in the Cayman Islands. The parties transferred cash from the Caymans to the UK during the marriage.
Accountancy and pension evidence has been obtained. The pensions are difficult to divide as they are illiquid and the assets mainly comprise commercial premises. Offsetting may be an option.
